Sunday morning the Lumberjacks defeated the Fairfield Indians 4-3 behind the strong pitching of Michael Miller, pitching prospect who spent the last two seasons with the Yuma Scorpions.

Fairfield Invitational Tournament
The Lumberjacks lost their first game of the tournament 2-4 to the Solano Mudcats despite an excellent pitching performance from Josh Gray. Lex Robins had 2 hits, and Josh gave up only 2 runs in 6 innings. With the score 2-2 in the 8th, the Mudcats scored 2 and never looked back.
