Humboldt Crabs axe Lumberjacks
The Lumberjacks were defeated by the scores of 10-1 and 1-0 against the Humboldt Crabs. The Jacks scored in game one from a double crushed by Jeff Tanaka off the left field wall, and an RBI groundout from Tom Macari. In game two, Rob Ellis was absolutely dominant, giving up only a single unearned run to take the tough-luck loss. In 2013 there is a very good chance the Lumberjacks will get a weekend series vs Humboldt, and will be able to bring the entire squad.
